Small businesses are the heartbeat of Merced. I will work to streamline the licensing process, reduce bureaucratic hurdles, and create dedicated grant programs to help family-owned shops expand and flourish downtown.
What are your plans to address public safety concerns?
I support a balanced approach that invests in community-based policing efforts while enhancing our emergency response infrastructure. By fostering trust between residents and law enforcement, we can ensure a safer city for everyone.

Accountability starts with listening. I will hold regular monthly town halls across all districts and maintain an open-door policy, ensuring that every resident has a direct way to voice their needs and concerns to city council.
